1939-40 Frame Differences
 

Hi,

I have a 1/2 ton truck with 1939 in license but the typical 1940 stuff like grille and dash.
I am considering an IFS but i find it confusing that most suppliers of IFS kits have one kit for up to 1939 and another kit from 1940.
To me, 1939 and 1940 looks almost identical, apart from grille and dash, so i find it confusing that there are different IFS kits.

Anyone that knows what/if there is any difference in the frame between 1939 and 1940?

order the one for the 40. I also have not figured out any difference in the frame 39-40.
the frame 41-46 is different in length but the front dimensions are the same. I have always used heidts crossmembers and had no problem with fitment.
