Headbolt heater removal?
My 67 250 6 cylinder has a Freeman head bolt engine heater installed, that I would like to remove.
I assume it was put in by removing 1 bolt and installing the heater. Would I be ok removing it and replacing it with a head bolt as long as I torqued it ? |
Re: Headbolt heater removal?

Never heard of it. It should be OK, as mentioned.

Very interesting... do you have a picture?

Re: Headbolt heater removal?
Yes interesting, would like to see what they did to pass thru the valve cover. I've heard of the heated oil dip stick, but not a head bolt.
