Wow, I had no idea this forum was here....

Im from the 67-72 forum usually, had no idea this was even here till one of my threads got relocated and I went looking for it.

Figured I'd share a few of my pics with y'all if thats ok.

My first vehicle, built it when I was 14, took about a month of busting my ass after school everyday. Drove it daily for about three years. '88 S15, had about 5 different engines in it varying from 305 to 400. TH350, stock everything else. Truck was a give-away old work truck from an auto glass store, 283K on the clock when I got it. Had ~$1500 total in the whole truck(not including the 4 other engines.)

Then the Ty....1993 #2025, GT72 turbo, Aquamist, and about every bolt-on imaginable.

Then....the deer, only had it about three months...not even long enough for the people at the DMV to tell me my personolized tag that said "SHTNGIT" wouldnt be allowed.

Deer rolled under the truck, sent the ass end airborn and crooked....hit a bridge enbankment.

But yeah, Im 22 now and Ive done about 15 of the V8 swaps....got it down to an exact science damn near. And even though Im in the 67-72 scene now I still got a place in my heart for S-trucks. After Im done with my '70 Im thinking about doing another one. This route though Im gonna go with a 4x4 98+ body style, and supercharged BBC, AWD x-fer from a Bravada and call it the "New Syclone"

Ya gonna carry a couple bushel baskets in the back to pick up the drivetrain pieces? Hahaha LOL ;)

I like the Typhoon! (Well, before the deer anyway! That sucks.)

Its gone man, State farm gave me blue book on it ($14K) and I only paid $6k for it, and they gave me an '08 GTP as a rental. So Im not too sad about it being gone.

I used to turn wrenches at the dealer who picked it up from their auction, so I know its not waiting in line to see the crusher. He'll take care of it. I might even give him the new passenger side cladding and some of the other goodies I had for it that are collecting dust in my garage.
