I open my images in 'paint' to make any changes & then save them. Seems to always work for sizing & rotating.

Been working towards this since 2013. Just recently got it to a drivable state. Still have to do the rear floor, notch, wheel tubs.

So good! Do you have a build thread somewhere? It would be great to see some progress pictures.

Nah. Was going to create one but just have not. I think I will and go back to post all the old pics. I'll let you know.

The only thing I have that has my progress pics is my IG feed, @BaggedBurbC10

Same.

I started this venture with a brown/tan 85 crew cab in 2013. Started saving money, buy parts. Just about time I was going to take the crew off the road and start installing parts (about 2 yrs ago) we got the opportunity to get my wife's late uncles 84 burb that had just been sitting since he'd passed in 2013. So we go the burb, sold the crew and shortly after began working on the burb.

Beginning in 2012/13 is when I started following builds and info on this forum. I suppose I need to quite procrastinating and start a build thread, post up pics and issues I ran into.

I remembered the CC in some tech questions/comments (suspension related) years back. I thought maybe the switch to the Burb was 'family' driven (that's actually why I have a CC).

My x-GF had a daughter & there was always 1 or 2 more kids w/her (friends/relatives). A member here (Jonboy) had the CC. He liked my single cab swb 74 & inquired about a trade. I became the owner of a truck that would comfortably fit 6. My step-daughter & her friends loved the dually. Then her mom & I split up a year later.

It's weird driving it around w/just me in it LoL. A bit too much truck now. I've considered putting it on the market & down-sizing to a single cab again.

I have a couple of buddies building Blazers. The Green one is obviously not as far along as the orange one. Nick who owns the green one hates the paint scheme. It was like that when he traded for it.

Both are bagged. The green one is an LS with 22/24 Intro wheels. The orange one is a 355 SB with 20/22 Boyd wheels.

Thanks
Marc

I fully understand about needing the room. I wanted room for my wife, 2 boys, and dog. Now both boys have their own rides. But the burbs not leaving. My wife's uncle bought it new in 84 so we keep'n it.

Don't downsize from the CC! That thing's sweet. I love it. You my ride single sometimes but don't you feel like a baller or big-timer riding low in that big thang? Takin' up all the lane; this line's MINE! :sumo:

MAN these are saweet! I dig both but I really like the wheel style and setup on the green one while I dig the paint color better on the orange one.

Thanks (on my friends behalf). I misquoted Sam's (Orange Blazer) wheel size. He is running 22's all the way around. I'm helping both of them with some odds and ends this winter. The orange one is 95% complete. The green one I would say is around 65%.

I’ve got some work to do on the bed, including filling in the drivers gas door, and then it’ll get painted to match along with a few other upgrades. 🙂
It was a left for dead long bed when I got it just over a year ago.

Here's my '85. It's roughly 5-5.5" up front and 8" out back. Front is McGaughy's 2.5" spindles and half ton springs trimmed till I was happy with it (I just kept cutting 1/4" coil at a time, I probably cut 1.5 coils or so). Rear is a flip kit with 2" shackles. With BellTech SPs and helpers out back, it rides great. I've run it cross country twice now
