lenses in the gauge cluster
I am real short on money and want to clean up my guage cluster by repainting it. To make it easier on me by not masking so much, how do I get the lenses out of this thing? I have the cluster off and there are a lot of different screws on the back. What do I take out and is this easy enough for me? Thanks guys.

There is about 8 1/4 screws around the outside on the back. Once you undo those it pretty much falls apart.

Sounds easy, the only part that scares me is the "everything falls apart" part. I hope that you mean it falls apart the way I would like and not where I would have to spend forever puttinig it back together. Thanks for the help, I'll be taking it apart soon.

LOL...falls apart in a good way.

Just take it slow and easy and watch what your doing and you'll see that it is pretty easy. There is one thing to be careful about though. The numbers and marks on the guage faces will rub off with cleaners and/or rubbing, so be careful with them. A soft detail brush is best if things aren't too bad.
