Sup guys,

I have not been working on my truck due to having to work on a rental unit. The tenant was a complete slob /hoarder! I have never seen anyone live like this. There was so much car hair I had to empty the shop vac 3 times!!! Check out a picture of her ice box!! WTF…WOW… I know it took me 4 hours to clean it and she was still using it!!!! I’m thinking it will take me 2 or 3 more weekends to get the place ready to rent. Then back to work on the truck.

Later Guys

G wizz this is some sick ****, how can human beings live like this... its like watching something out of a 'hoarders' programme...good luck man.

Yeap!! it was unreal! I just bought the property and the renter (SHE) had been living there for 8 year. I know she had never clean it 1 time. It all clean up and ready to rent. Now its time to get back on the truck.

I spent a little time in the garage this weekend. I used some high temp paint from eastwood to paint the calipers and rotors, it worked great. The paint is a little uneven on the rotor but I’m sure but brake pad will help round it out. All four bags are install and the compressor. Plus I started running harnesses for the accuair system. Next weekend i will install the motor and trany and rear mount gas tank.

Thanks. They came out pretty slick for use a brush to paint them. The paint it very thick and it looks like a color/clear all in one. Im happy with it. It will do until the trucks back on the road and i need to upgrade to a wilwood brake kit with 14''rotors and 4 piston calipers.:metal: You know!!

Thanks, Im running a McGaughy's big brake kit with their drop spindles and hubs. I had to shave 1/8 off the spindle studs and smash the dust caps in. Now the front wheels and caps fit without a problem.

Not too much to report. This summer has been super busy with work, rentals, birthday parties, bachelor parties, weddings and life. The last few weeks I got a little work done, not too much though. I ran some electrical air lines and started installing my EFI system. Here are a couple of pictures. I hope the rest the of you guys have been getting more work done that me. I plan to start spending a little more time with it plus the guy doing my body work got a new job and hasn't touch the cab in 2 months. Now I am looking for a new guy. I have someone coming by this week to give me a price. i hope he takes the job. I will post some better pictures this weekend.

Just checking in so not much to update. We are moving across town to a house with more room to grow. My truck is spread over 3 different places. I can not wait to finish moving. Summer is just about over and it's starting to cool off. Time to do work...

Wow! That is all I can say. I just read through it all, good looking truck. How hard is shaving the drip rails? Are you flush mounting the windshield? You said the seats are out of a 94 Burb, is that true for the center console as well? Thanks, and keep it up!

Beetle,

Sorry for the delay. The drip rails where a LOT of work, more than I thought but I had some good help! I'm not going to flush mount the windshield only because I donot have the time to rework it. Yes the center console is out of a 94 burb but I'm not sure I'm going to reuse it. What you think? I'm thinking I will try something a little more square.
