Bob, did not find any D/S single 350 valve covers in the parts stash. I did come up with two pairs or sets. One set uses the twist lock oil cap and the other uses the rubber grommet or cap. Believe the twist lock was original for 69-70 years and the rubber grommet or cap was used in 71-72. Maybe some one else with more info can chime in on that?

Either set is available altho not wanting to break them up as sets. Both sets need cleaned and repainted. No rust or scale but both are dirty. $45 a set if interested in either set plus shipping. Understand if you don't want to buy a set if just needing one but as mentioned don't want to break up a set. LMK if you have and interest, best I can do with any valve covers at the moment.

If you need an actual 72 valve cover, i don't think any of those are correct. 72 drivers side would have rear push in filler and 2 wire retainer tabs on the intake side of the valve cover.

Bob, apparently the covers I have are not correct for 72, my bad as they say. It was not my intention to mis-lead you and I understand if you have no interest in them. I have seen both single and double wire retention tabs on intake and exhaust side for driver side valve covers with the temp sending unit wire run thru them. Many parts and items get changed over time and multiple owners, again, it was not my intention to mis-lead you. :waah:

I hope you dont think i was saying you were trying to deceive, you explained your covers well and didn't say they were correct for 72. I only explained what was correct for 72 in case he really wanted/needed a 72 cover.

Randy, not a problem, did not take it that way at all. As I've mentioned before there is a lot to know and learn on these trucks and many things have been changed over and again since they were new 45-50 years ago. That's why I always like to look at known true "survivor" trucks when they do appear on the board. I have also seen reference to differences in car vrs. truck 350 engines so that always adds into the mix. :chevy:
