454 ac bracket help please
 

i have a 79 chevy 454 in my crewcab and i need ac i do not know how the brackets go back in.. thanks

My 78 GMC has a 454 and full working A/C. I can take some pics under the hood of the A/C pump and brackets, hose routing and the A/C unit itself and then post them tomorrow if you'd like.

I just put my a/c back together on my 75 454. I have headers and was missing the bracket that goes in the adjustment slot on the back of the compressor. I got on the net and thought, well, I just order one for headers...hhhmmm, I could not find one anywhere for a bbc equipped truck. Went to all the header sites I could think of, found brackets out the whazoo for sbc, but none for the bbc. I finally broke down and made one. I did not want to bolt it to the header bolts, so I bolted to the 2 threaded holes that are above the headers on the front of the driver's side head. I can also try to get some pics for you so you can figure out where everything goes.
