for sale ad hijacked
just curious, on other forums i frequent i dont have this problem but on more than one ad i've seen on here another person will try to contact a buyer on a ad someone else has posted? is this acceptable on this forum ? had someone do this to me on my ad for the 67-72 radio delete plate ad. personally i think it's wrong because it cost me a sale, pretty sure of this. if you have something for sale list it yourself or at least be courteous and pm the other person dont post on some one elses ad. some forumns dont allow posts on for sale ad's you just send a pm to the seller.ranting and raving makes me feel better

Re: for sale ad hijacked
Someone trying to sell something of theirs on your add?

Re: for sale ad hijacked
yes left a message on my ad to a person replying to my ad

Re: for sale ad hijacked
Sorry I don't know the rules on this, but I just checked out your ad, and it wouldn't seem acceptable around here. I've been a paying member, to support the forum and also for certain privileges, so not cool. Seems he's also a paying member so he can post his own add

Re: for sale ad hijacked

Re: for sale ad hijacked
Someone's always out there working hard and checking up on us, so if he's in the wrong im sure they'll let him know. Hopefully he just got a little bit excited and it was an innocent mistake.

Re: for sale ad hijacked
Not cool at all. There's nothing you can do about the the sale, but why don't you report the post. Just click on the little red triangle below your forum name. At least then a moderator can talk to the other seller.

Re: for sale ad hijacked
What Tyler did was NOT proper message board etiquette, as mentioned he should have started his own sell ad.....

Re: for sale ad hijacked
It's not proper etiquette anywhere in the world. I won't even offer a part in a WTB until I know earlier offers didn't work out

Re: for sale ad hijacked
It's just not good manners.....not sure on the rules but commen sense says don't do it..

Re: for sale ad hijacked
My dad used to have a saying about people like this, "I wouldn't want to be in a bomb shelter with him".
