67 LongBed driveshaft length auto vs manual transmission

I'm away from my truck and found a driveshaft local to where I am at a fair price I can bring back with me.

The challenge is it's for a LongBed with a turbo 350, but I've got a LongBed with a 3 speed in my truck

Anyone know if they're the same length or if they're different.

Thanks in advance!!!

My 67 C20, 4spd SM465, granny gear. 2 piece driveshaft. When I installed the 700r4, I had to shorten the driveshaft 13 inches.

Thanks man.

I'm trying to figure out if the auto and manual driveshaft are the same length in the long beds so I can buy a fresher one than what I've got in it now.

I just had a custom one piece for my 71, but its not worth the expense for my 67, unfortunately.

TH350 with short tailshaft (most common) is the same length as a Saginaw 3-speed manual, and even a Muncie 4-speed.

Thanks!

That's exactly what I needed to know. 😁
