Where do you recommend I go, to check out some rides, shows, events. :cool:

DURING THE DAYS I LIKE TO GO TO THE SWAP MEET AT THE LIVESTOCK EVENT CENTER. IN THE EVENINGS I GO TO THE HILTON OR THE ATLANTIS OR THE PEPPERMILL. DOWNTOWN SPARKS IS ALSO FANTASTIC. ARE YOU COMING WITH A GROUP ? OR BY YOURSELF?? :D :D :D JOHN

It is actually 1 week long, but thursday, friday, and saturday are the best, my wifes driving my 70 GS STAGE 1, Im driving the 69 GS STAGE 1 4sp, and my brothers driving a 68 HURST OLDS from Prescott arizona, John's right Peppermill probably the best for viewing, ask where EDISON street is, from 11pm till 5am there's some drag racing depending on how often the cops comes around, Sparks-John Asquaga's Nugget for the viewing/drunk fest/live bands/micro-brewery's.

At the moment I'm on my own. Not clear if my best friend is going yet.

I'm going for the first time and knowing how I like crowds, probably the last time but I have to check it out. Will be there from Thursday thru Sunday, leaving the truck at home though.

I really want to go and am trying to get pont to get I will be there friday and saturday...

AFTER THREE DAYS & NIGHTS OF DRINKING, STREET DANCES,CAR PART SHOPPING, & OGELING EVERY OLD CAR & TRUCK MADE FROM 1972 ON DOWN YOUR APPITITE WILL SURELY BE WETTED. Yup, the event is for a week, but for non-participants the second weekend is when the action and activity picks up. I'll be there on Saturday again, like last year. Can't wait!

Ok, can we get a head count then, and maybe a place and time for all us board members to meet each other? Either on this thread or this one:

It has been 13 years since I've been to HAN so I'm really looking forward to it. Junkyardjohn, you obviosly know your way around this event so could you recommend a time and place for us board members to get together? Either Friday or Saturday night?

If you all want to ride in my 69....let me know. I am a registered participant. It's kind of neat to get a different view riding.

Thanks Blue, that's nice of you and I agree about the different view. Last time I was a participant was 13 years ago. So long I hardly remember what it was like :)

I've got reservations at the Peppermill for August 2nd-4th...I know, not the BEST times, but they're comp'd rooms, so I HAD to use em these days, and I figgerd HAN would be there then, so, why not. :) I'm not showing a car (don't have any older than 75) but I'll be looking at em' all. :metal:

I'm guessing Saturday would be better, I know that Frenchblue and I will be on the road Friday and I imagine other will be also. Whatever the majority wants to do is fine with me.

Man, that sounds like fun. I wish I could be there. I've only been once and had the time of my life. Is it still only open to '69 and older cars? I think that's what it was when I was down there.

NOW IT'S OPEN TO 72 & OLDER CARS & TRUCKS. JOHN
