Finally got to the point where we got the engine started. Moved the car under its own power outside and drove it around the block.
Just a few finishing touches and off to the upholstery shop. |

Getting close to finishing all of the body work. Polished all of the exterior window trim and starting to install the trim.
Also installed the rear bumper and license plate lights. |

This week has been a milestone for me. My 56 Handyman has finally reached the next chapter. Done with the body work now onto the upholstery shop.

Just waiting for the upholstery shop to get the interior in on April 18th. In the mean while I got the tires and wheels installed.

The upholstery has started on the wagon. All the fabric has finally arrived. The headliner has been started with the panels being measured out and cut out.
The carpet pad is now installed, The rough fit of the carpet has been started. The wind lace has been installed along with the headliner tack strip. |
