I saw your setup at the NSRA show in Louiesville and it looked awesome.

I would like a black powder coated one for a 70 Blazer auto floor shift to zip 30606

Thanks!

Stuart

That's a universal street rod booster. 8" dual diaphragm. That's my blue truck in your photo!

Thanks, love your truck.
I am the guy who talked to you at the show and asked you about the bracket.

Thank you! I'm really happy with it.

You can find them on ebay for around $40-50.

While Im not stuck on one brand or style I am committed to building the most radical Rods I can. Some of you on this board may recognize the other mini truck I finished in 2012.

Captainfab,

Am I correct that this will not work with the 3 3/8" square bolt pattern booster? This is what I have currently, just double checking. Looks like an awesome part, would love it on my truck.

Thanks!

Thanks Captainfab, Got the bracket installed on the stainless firewall cover with the booster and pedal. It fit perfectly, cant say the same for my first try on the stainless, lol!

Re: Power Brake Booster Adapter Bracket

You would have to slightly elongate the booster holes in the bracket to accomodate that booster.

Re: Power Brake Booster Adapter Bracket

I thought had posted this list of compatible boosters in this thread, but I don't see it. There is an expanded version that comes with every booster bracket.

'There are a few listed in post #1, but here is a little list.

'67-'70 pickups, Suburbans, Blazers
'70-'74 Impala, Caprice
'80's G body Vans (full sized)
Early Astro/Safari vans with the vacuum booster
'82-'02 S10/S15 pickups and Blazers
'88-'98 full sized pickups
'92-'98 Suburbans, Blazers

There may be some other applications, and/or years, but these are the ones I have been able to verify.

Thanks for the reply. I'm also noticing that there are interference issues with the column shift, which I am using currently. Can this be resolved by using a 7" booster? Has anyone tried this?

Thanks!

Re: Power Brake Booster Adapter Bracket

The column shift interference was mentioned on the first page of this for sale thread. I believe there are other mentions as well as a pic or two in this thread also. It seems that if a booster with a diameter of less than 10" is used, that will provide sufficient clearance.

Thanks for the reply! I took another read through several of your posts and see some great pics and info. I also noticed that one member had good luck since he had also moved his column down into the dash 1.5" or so, and the clearance was plenty then for the linkage. I'd love to do this mod anyways as I'm tall, so I think that might be the ticket.

Can you send me an invoice for a powdercoated black bracket shipped to 90245?

Thanks! Can't wait.
