Emblem colors
 

Were all badges for certain styles the same color? I have a 77 Cheyenne that I want to repaint the emblems but want to make sure the color is right. Mine is orange where it's usually red. The blazer is orange so not sure if it was painted to match at some point. Also the black is gone but again not sure if that was done by a previous owner or if that's how it came.

Prettyy certain the Orange is faded '73 Crimson red' which is what my truck is and the emblem matches exactly. The Brownish yellowish color I have at home or at least i have something as near as makes no difference. it is actually the same color of Caterpillar / farm machinery yellow. pretty certain I got it from home depot. I'll take a picture later on and post it here for you.

Thanks. I thought it was faded too but it really close to the orange on the blazer.
