It's to bad my cig. lighter broke so on the hunt for one. A/C controls done and the rest of the under dash wiring. Shifter back out to paint and now to set the shifter rods and reverse switch. Not sure about my sticker on the ash tray, I might put it on the glove box door.

The rad was in good condition but looked like they installed it with a fork lift. 2 1/2 hours and it looks new again. Cleaned up the shop and got it ready to fit the box on so I can mount a gas filler tube. Rear tank to original cab post filler hole, should be fun. It's nice to open the shop doors.

The box is on and it looks right at home on there. Starting to come together and man is it a long truck. I love it that way.

Re: 67 long box
Just curious, did you buy this truck off of Ebay and did it come from KS?

Re: 67 long box
I thought I recognized it. I sold it to the guy in Canada. He bought it off of Ebay from me. I am in Wichita. Glad to see the truck is in good hands and it looks like you're doing a good job with the restoration.

Well I started making the fuel filler from the original cab location to rear tank. I think it might just work.

Woa!!! Never thought of that. That's the only reason I have not moved my tank was the filler door issue. The notch in the frame does that need/ wil you reinforce that or leave as is? I assume there's no real load there so not necessary? Great job on your build!!!! |

It's a one piece unit, slides in the holes perfect. looks like factory but with rear tank. No way fumes are coming out of that. Just needs to be cleaned up and painted.

Re: 67 long box
Just got my axles in 500$ without studs, bearings, seals or 5 bolt drums. Canadian shopping sucks.
