Post up some photos of your workshop / garage / barn or wherever you do your wrenching!

Being an old fart, this was my 3rd attempt over the years of building a shop.

This one has an insulated work shop one the left, and storage on the right.

I added the 2 post lift a few years after I did the building, and the four post I added when I bought my '65 so I could store it under my trailer.

Notice the hinged worktop that folds down for extra space.

These pictures are from a couple years ago... not quite so sanitary looking now.

This is my current shop I built behind my house. I wanted to include an RV bay, but the
city limited the shape and height of my roofline, so I ended up redrawing the plans for a 12x20 office space.
This is several years old when I just finished the shop...

...finished sheetrock and overhead lighting then finished roof and stucco to match the house...

...where there's a fuel altered and the '63 C-10 are usually scattered about.

...it adds about 300 hp, enough to spin the blower over until the methanol lights off. ;)

I broke my addiction to Miata's. Me and the wfe have thought about selling the last one a 1992 Sunburst yellow. I repainted it and put new carpet in. Still needs a top.

Here's my man cave.

These pics are when I first moved in 3 years ago. Now I can't hardly move. I can't believe how much stuff has accumilated in 3 years. Not too mention my truck, Shannon's and Ronnie's cab. The last pic was where I came from. We all gotta start somewhere.

Nice shops guys. I have a car and a half that is full with mowers and toys. Im looking in to adding a few bays on the end of the house or poss buying a two car already standing two blocks away. The cheaper option will win so there is money left for the lwb 66. What are some recommendations? Is it better to be attached to house or just two blocks away?

A couple pics from a few months ago. She's a little farther along now, pretty much just trim to do and run my airlines. Just finished building a shed so my garage now feels much more open.

Here is about the best picture I have of my shop. I can't remember the exact size but it can fit three trucks side by side, and two longbeds front to back.... It is in a block of shops in a local storage unit, and I am the only really active tennant so I'm usually out there alone. My house is only on a 1/4 acre lot, so there isn't any room for a shop on my current property beyond the built in 2 car (barely) garage. We're talking about selling and moving in a few years, and will be buying a few acres with plenty of room for a shop. For now this works fine, but I am running out of room and have more projects I want to aquire.....

you guys got some nice shops...
lakeroadster, love the rpu and the place you built it in.

ours is a bit different. not sure where the shop stops and the house starts.
my wife and I fixed up a 40's sinclair station that had been abandoned. it had 2 bays originally and we added on with living quarters in the back and a few out buildings for bodywork and metal fab. my girl is as project oriented as I am so this place suits us just fine.
our latest addition is elmer gantry... a hoist we scrapped from a semi truck dealership.
