Little Chevy's, Dieseldawg an Ol Blue K20

Hi Guys

I singled you two out, because you were the ones that talked to me over here the most. (Everyone else is welcome also.. :) )

I had said last time I was getting rid of them, and I did for the most part..

I have pretty much gotten away from these kinds of forums also but I am building little trucks again, and I did some trading and got my old 72 Chevy back, where its safe again..

I even took it out yesterday when it was sunny here. Some pics and a video, of course.. :D

This is the new one I'm building. Its almost done. Besides everything else I do to them, I lengthened the bed to make it a regular bed.

I still look in every now and then, but was thinking of you two.. :)

Hey Dieseldawg

I traded the King Hauler this past summer and swore I would not build anymore big rigs...Well, I just bought the Tamiya Grand Hauler and a 3 axled refer trailer.. :)

@ preciador6, The original stock body can be found on ebay, and you would be searching for a Tamiya Clodbuster body, or Tamiya Clodbuster's
As for building one for you, I don't do that, I only build for me. sorry.

Wow, you're on top of it. :) You must already know something of the RC world. I purchased the Blazer body a few months ago, but haven't started on it yet.

I understand the free time and spending money. Oh well stuff happens :) I really like Blazers, and yours is sweet looking.

The problem is, the bodies that are made in that style are usually a truck and they are made with lexan, which you paint from the inside, and they are really hard to convert to a Blazer. The body I have is completely made from scratch, using styrene plastic sheets. I will try to dig through my pictures this weekend and kind of show you how I did it.. Its not easy.. :)

Thanks Jeffro http://www.vaterrarc.com/Products/De...odID=VTR230052 I bought this body to get some ideas and it comes with grill and bumper..wonder if I can spray something inside to make it a hard plastic body and cut it up to make a blazer:smoke:
