Heres one I saw at the weekend at a show, its a 63 but was very nicely done, still had farm supply company stickers etc in the back window and on the tailgate but was slammed on 20's (didn't know they made six stud torque thrusts) with a very nice side exit exhaust in stainless, never did manage to catch the owner there but I ssupect under the hood its very very clean and shiny. The license plate reads "Rough as Toast" The patina look seems to be just as big over here, there were several trucks there with fake patina with paint rubbed through to the primer, looked very hokey tbh.

That's kinda crazy. How the heck did the oxydation just get on the passenger side of the hood?

It appears to me the drivers side of the hood and the roof are primered. There is some surface rust on the drivers side hood near the Chevrolet letters.

Here's are latest purchase. Not sure how long we'll be keeping the patina look since any rust will just get worse here in the north. But we'll enjoy it for the rest of the summer!

Just pulled this one out of my wife's grandfathers chicken house...84000 miles...IT is on propane so I added a battery and it fired right up after sitting for 7 years

I just sold this truck to my best friend, and he had his business lettered on the side. I miss that truck!

You always make time for everybody elses project BUT yours. My neighbor does paint, tile and drywall and says he HATES doing any of that stuff at home. :lol:

Both of these trucks are way KOOOOOOL....especially the gold...orange...???? electric co. truck.............!!!!!!!!

I actually quick sanded and painted my patina, er, rust, it has come back through over the years, I need to get a current pic.
