1968 C 30 Open Road
3 Attachment(s)
Hello all,
I bought this 1968 C30 Open Road camper a few years ago with big plans to restore it and drive all over the place camping and whatnot... I don't think it's going to happen. I'm now sorta looking for something 4x4ish. I'd love to see this go to a good home, but have no idea what it's worth. I've gutted the camper interior portion, so it's in a prime position to either rebuild a sweet camping rig to fit your needs, or remove it totally if someone just wants a rust free cab, or parts maybe... would make a great flatbed I think. I had the carb rebuilt, brakes fixed, filters and fluids, a bunch of stuff. It's a 327, runs well. 74,000 miles. Has been sitting in a temp controlled warehouse for a few years here in Indianapolis. Any thoughts on what this might go for? Thanks for your advice. |

Cool truck. I’d say $6.5k-7k. Any interior pictures?

Pass through cab or not?

Thanks 68bowtie!
I will definitely grab some interior shots. The back has been stripped down to the studs, searching for potential rotten wood, removed all the old insulation... so not pretty, but left at a decent stage for someone able to rebuild I suppose. |

Yes, it has the pass through. I hope to post some interior pics this evening. |

What was the engine used in a 1968 c30 open road with rear deck?

I checked that out also.;) I was hoping they would respond. Also flipped the picture for 402bowtie. Maybe we need to PM him with this SPID? |
Re: 1968 C 30 Open Road
I bought one of those and sold it to Oldiron and he turned it into an award winning tilt flatbed! It had perfect buddy bucket seats and perfect cab...too good to be parted out. Nothing wrong with the 327...but the rearend gears could be changed for certain...5.37's were a little too deep!
