Here is my new project. Let me see if the pics post here. I also threw in a pic of my 2wd Blazer tub for good measure. The truck is a 72 swb cheyenne with metal floor, and the Blazer is a original 72 cst c-5 blazer.

Good luck!

Hey thanks for your help, That is a sweet lookin' ride. I hope mine will look somewhat like that one day. Hope this works. Please let me know what you think! Also, the #'s on the intake manifold are 248280 GM. I am trying to find out what type of motor this is as it was a replacement V-8. I heard somewhere on here if you give this to a dealer they will be able to find out. any help would be apprecieated!

It's been a long time since I've been here. I bought a '72 back in 2002 and the short story is that just didn't work out. But this past weekend I got a '69 and I couldn't be much happier.

As you can see it's got a 71-72 grille. I'll change that when I have a little extra money.

A previous owner put a Sony radio in but did not cut the dash. It also has Cheyenne Super emblem on the glove box and I'll need to swap that.

My first priority is to put a new speedo cable on it so I don't get a ticket. I ordered a few odds and ends and after I install those I'll start looking for a grille and think about putting the right emblem on the glove box. Seems like someone wanted to make this look like a 71. My dad had a 71 and the idea is mildly appealing to me, but the idea of it looking "correct" is even more appealing. Glad to be back!

Couple quick pics of my '72. I'm a little late to this party but love all the trucks that are here. Thanks for sharing your rides.

Midwest - what do you mean "tear into them" they both look beautiful, especially the two wheeler - wish my bed was that clean and straight.
