They have a lot going on at that show.
Are you able to see most of it in 2 days? |

Been many years ago but I somehow got my wife to sign off on going to this show. My sons were a ways from driving age (41 and 42 now). We must have been heading down to California a family thing or something. Anyway the large California shows were great to go to because you got to see so many cars that were in the magazines (remember them? lol)
Id love to go again some time. |

Used to be a Goodguys Member, Then they raised the price again. If your Not a member you were out $40 plus before you got in the show. $20 parking (Ridiculous) + 20 something to get in. Just got too expensive to see the same cars if you went whenever they had a Show, 4 a year I think in Pleasanton. I like to go to the impromptu shows, no $ Involved, like the Coffee and Clutches shows. I hated having to Pay to let people see my Truck. Just my 2c

We have a decent sized good guys show up here but I don’t go too often. I like to give it a few years between shows hoping for new blood.

They cancelled the one that was about an hour from me and moved it to York PA about 5 hours and then they stopped doing that one too. So I haven’t been to one in a few years

While I'm' not familiar with this show, a group of us attend the GG Texas show twice a year (Spring and Fall shows). It's a big show and it's a lot to walk through. Up until this year, it was doable in 2 days but it takes quite an effort. The only way to attend though, IMO, is to drive into the show with your classic. This way, you have a base of operations with shade, seats, food, beverages, etc. When ready to leave, just pack up and drive back out. This year though, the organizers have combined the GG Spring Nationals here in North Texas with the PATE swap meet. OMG, we aren't sure how it's going to go as PATE is absolutely enormous. Far too big to even entertain the thought of seeing everything in our 2 days there. Let alone also enjoying the car show event. -klb |
