What's the issue with slip joints? I just made my dual system with stainless band clamps from Summit. First time using them and they are great. Perfect seal, reusable and look good assuming you ever see them. They make them for butt joints as well but the kit I used already had expanded ends on each piece. Local parts stores wanted like $30 per clamp, Summit sells them for $7.99. Go figure.

The Bassani setup in my F150 came with Accuseal clamps just like the ones in SunSoaked's post. For warranty reasons they don't want you welding everything together, but even without that condition, I'd still use 'em; no leaks and having everything sectional makes service easier.
