The Promo Code Thread - Post the deals here.

OK, I got permission prior to starting this one, but here is my thought. I've ordered a lot of parts, and now I am on many email lists. I get emails all the time with promo codes for special deals from truck parts companies.
Why dont we share them?

So, whether it is Brothers, Year One, LMC Truck, Classic Parts ... whatever,
Post the promo codes and details here!

Re: The Promo Code Thread - Post the deals here.

Great idea! I got one. It's a 5% discount at rockauto.com

They have some great prices even without the discount although the shipping can be a killer as the parts can come from 4 different locations so if you order alot at one time, you could pay 4 shipping costs! :( Worth checking out though. Got alot of mechanical parts for my wrecker resto there lately.

Use this code: 56654984706209 It's good until July 10th.

Advance Auto has a price-matching guarantee, and there are a number of promo codes floating around (Google: Advance Auto promo codes).
You may have to order online, but if you find a lower price they will match it. Any order more than $75 ships free and you can add a promo code on top of that.
In January I bought $175 worth of Monroe shocks for $86 delivered! That's more than half off.

Re: The Promo Code Thread - Post the deals here.

Advance Auto Parts is a great one... in fact. I have a deal that they sent me in an email this week.

Promo Code : MY15
Through May 28th

Get 15% off orders over $100, PLUS you get a $50 off coupon for a future purchase over $100. (if the subtotal is over $100 after the 15% discount has been applied.

I have received this offer from them before, and I used it. I bought my $160 Optima battery, and used the $50 coupon. Sounded too good to be true, but its valid. It took me a few weeks to get the coupon though. It helped me justify throwing the extra bucks at the high dollar battery. It sucks seeing a top notch car at a show with the Wal-Mart special battery under the hood.

If you aren't on Advance Auto's email list, and you are a car guy, then you should get on it. They have weekly deals.

Re: The Promo Code Thread - Post the deals here.

Here is another Rock Auto:

Thank you for being a www.RockAuto.com customer! To show our appreciation, we have a special discount for you.

Your discount code is:
58792581827691

Using Your Discount Code
Enter the code above in the "How did you hear about us" line of the shopping cart. If you are using our traditional HTML catalog, please click the "Apply" button to the right of the field. Your discount will automatically appear, subtracted from your order total.

Please note: We sometimes get calls from people who put the word "discount" in front of their code and do not get the discount. Please enter ONLY the discount code, no other words or numbers.

The discount takes 5% off our already-low prices. There's no limit on order size or the number of orders. Use the code for your next order, and share the code with friends, neighbors, relatives, the guy at the corner garage--anyone you know who works on cars or trucks.

This discount code expires on July 31, 2011; so don't wait!

I made a quick spreadsheet to post these deals in. That way rather than sorting through page after page of old deals, you can search the spreadsheet. And as deals expire they can be deleted.

Hope this helps

Another Year One... only good until Midnight tonight. I am a little short on time, but I will check out the spreadsheet later.

Save a Little or Save a Lot – The Choice is Yours

You have the power. The power to choose the discount level on your next order, that is. From now until Midnight Sunday, simply use sale code CHOOSE and you will receive up to 25% off all non-discount exempt items on your order. It works just like the graphic shows: orders totaling up to $499 automatically get 15% off; $500-$999 get 20% off; and orders $1000 or more save 25%. Save a little or save a lot – the choice is yours.

*Sale does not include discount exempt items and cannot be used with any other offers.
