Here's what I started with.

It was my dads that he bought non running then it just sat for 10+ years. I told him I wanted to restore it and that's how this project began.

First thing I did was rebuild the original running gear.
327 bored .30 over, kept the SM465 Muncie transmission, also decided to run the Eaton HO72 rear end.

Finished the bodywork and got it primed, still needs a couple more coats

Do to neglect and rust I had to change the drip rails, rocker panels and other little areas.

That's pretty sweet.Are you going to keep the stake bed or do something different?HAve you seen that crew cab dually with the fleetside bed and stepside fenders grafted on?

I've seen many of truck done that way and love the the fleet side duallys but I didn't want to cut the truck up. Yes, I'm keeping the same bed but it needs a lot of reworking.

Started working on the doors today found some bad rust forming at the bottom that had to be removed.

Mocked up the front clip and doors this afternoon to check my gaps. The lower door skins still need a little straightening.

I like that you haven't removed the C30 bits.

Thanks, the buckets came with the truck. I would like to find a buddy bucket for the center.
