One Piece Drive Shaft?

Anyone have a one piece driveshaft in a 465/205/LWB Setup? I would like to get rid of the two piece but I've heard that no one will build a driveshaft longer than 6'.

Both my '72 with a TH350 and my brother's '69 with 4 speed (465) have a one piece driveshaft. I didn't even know that the 4x4's came with a 2 piece. BTW, they are both LWB with 205's.

Dad's 67 K-20 has a 1 piece driveshaft....I was also unaware that they made them in 4x4 with a 2 piece driveshaft

One piece here, also. Same set up: 465/205/127" wheel base.

Do your one piece drive shafts have a CV Joint (double U-Joint) on one end? I'm going to have a drive shaft built and was wondering if the CV Joint is needed.

Nope, Not needed.
