Father son k20
My 8 year old asked if we could build something together so I said we could build him a truck that he could drive when he gets older. Going to use a lot of extra parts I have. Thinking of putting a 8.1 in it

That was my first choice for an engine but I could not find one. ended up with 5.3. this will be a cool build.

Re: Father son k20
Very cool build. I plan to do similar with my kids. The 8.1 would not be my first choice for my boys though. It looks like you have a nice 39-41 Ford pick up in the back round? I like your shop too. It looks very nice.

Re: Father son k20
Yes it's probably a little over the top but it was this or a duramax. I'm keeping it for the crewcab. Yes it is a 41 Ford my grandpa bought in 57. Thanks for complement on the shop I spent a lot of time on it.

Re: Father son k20
That's sweet that the 41 is still around and in the family! So you have a Dmax for the crew?

Re: Father son k20
Just realized you will probably have this project done when your 8 year old is probably 10 or 11! :)

I don’t know I don’t move that fast. Plus I told him the only time I would work on it is when he wants to work on it. So we will see how interested he is.
