Does anyone on here have pictures of an original 327 V8 with a 4 barrel Rochester carb, no AC, with power steering in a 67 Chevy C10? Lost the pictures we took of it when we got it home. Thanks to who responds.

The gearbox setup on the pictured truck isn’t correct but works!

Wasn't the alternator mount on the exhaust manifold in 67/68?

Yes, the lower bracket bolts to the bottom hole and the alternator pivot to the top one.

Thanks Jack.

I will do this when I get home from work today. I'll take some with and without the air cleaner.

Dan these pics are from a 67 right? Was the 68 327 Amy different? What is that black hose driver side from the exhaust man to breather?

No sir, it is a 68. That tube helps warm the air when it cold outside. I am sure someone here has the official name. Maybe heat tube?

cool man. Nice truck. I thought it was a 68. is that engine original to the truck? if so what is your Suffix code? Last 3 letters of stamped on the block behind the water pump. Thanks

67 is a little different. Closed pcv in 67 is in the oil fill tube and the carb is a 4jet, not a Quadrajet on a 67 327. Here is a factory 67 327. It has ac and air injection that yours may not have. 67 truck 327's in all designations had a thermostat bypass as well. The 67 327 would be manual choke but I added an auto choke to mine as well as adding larger valve heads from a car.

Thanks for the info. How close is your bbl air breather to compressor? I have air too but I think it’s an aftermarket compressor and the stock bbl wont fit. Maybe the compressor can be adjusted?

Sorry, just realized the original post was looking for a 67! I am pretty sure the engine is original to the truck. I haven't had a chance to check the numbers yet. I will get the number as soon as I am home and remember. ;)

It's quite a ways away. This is the oil bath breather. The paper element housing may be closer but wouldn't touch.
