91 Jimmy that I bought Middle of the month that I have still not see. The transport truck broke down and I'm just sitting here waiting to see her. She is 100% original stock and very well kept. Will be my d/d once I get a few miner issues sorted out. A/C and rear window problems.

Same thing happened to me when I bought my blazer. Shipper blew a transmission while coming up a mountain. Took two weeks to get it repaired. It was nerve wracking

I considered that same rig myself. It's been out there awhile, glad someone on the board picked it up.

It was a toss up between this one and a 1990 Black Blazer. The seller with the blazer was an ass so he made my mine up for me.

I've only ever owned 60-72 Chevy/GMC trucks/suburbans but love all years. No idea which year this is but it was parked close to me the other day and looked pretty clean so snapped a few pics.

I sold this thing in '15 at Spring Carlisle and I miss as much as I knew I would. I have a whole between my '72 and '95 that needs filled with a square peg . I really needed that thing to be a truck to work out of. If I had one back then I'd still have it. Damn engine blew at a bad time in my daily work truck so it had to go.

I never showed these and just ran across them in pictures from Carlisle that year. This was where it sold. It was a friend of a friend from NH who gave no money down. I did get full payment that week after. Although he didn't come down for it till late summer, I didn't think it right to drive it. So I had to look at it there for months with the hardtop back on, ready for him to take it away

And another one. My newest Suburban is a 1991 with 123,000 miles on it. Basic truck with manual windows and locks. I borrowed the wheels from my 1988 so I could get it inspected but have ended up driving it instead of stealing parts from it. I bought it to use the barn doors on my 1988 but the thing is in just too good condition to part out. Its a 1/2 ton with 10 bolt front and rear (3.42 ratio) , 5.7 TBI / 700R4 / NP241.

Here's a couple of pics of my 1988 1/2 ton Scottsdale that I purchased off the original owner with about 75K on the OD.

As purchased with the standard white steel wheels/hubcaps and old man style running boards

With a set of rally's and tires I picked up cheap for $300.00 and starting the process of being redone.

Then after a total strip of paint, glass, interior, headliner, chrome, etc.. everything replaced with new or refurbished, repainted, restored, body bushing, updated grill, running boards, door handles, all rubber, vent windows, leveling zero-rate springs, the list go on and on.

I sold this last year to a neighbor and had the chance to buy it back. He installed 6 new shocks, changed all the fluids and drove it a whopping 169 miles....paid $400 less than I sold it for. :metal:

I worked this morning and ended up taking the long way home, I love this beater.

Here is my 87v20 Burb. 6.2/400/208. I got her stock about 4 yrs ago. I got it cheap. Over time I have pretty much have been through everything, minus the original long block and previously rebuilt trans.

I have been slowly upgrading over time as components failed. No turbo, injection system was overhauled but kept stock. She is getting tired and I am done doing anything more to the 6.2 platform. I just drive the crap out of it.

I often travel with the family. We always take the backroads and camp often. Everything I own ends up lifted. I eventually want to swap a different motor/trans combo in for towing my wheeler.

Before and after.

Thanks Man. My first show with it since I finished. It was quite the conversation piece.

This is my new 1986 Suburban K2500 4x4 with an M code 350 engine with HD Emissions. This was the last year with no catalytic converters in these trucks, from what I've read.

It is as clean as it looks. Not a resto! No rust, all original panels. Same owner for the last 25 years. It is immaculate and even the clock works!
