Very nice! Where'd you find that fan shroud?

Btw I would try to space that fan farther forward so at least half of the fan is in the shroud or about an inch is sticking out.

it was actually on the truck when i got it and thanks for the tip i was pondering that last night if it should be a bit closer it could also use to move down a touch i think, there is several inch above and only a hair of space on the lower side between the shroud and fan.

Hey Buddy,
One word of ad-vice:lol:, make sure you put lots of sound deadner on your floor boards cause with the mufflers right under the cab like that it's gonna really be loud in there. I have the mufflers(flowmaster 40's) right underneath my cab and when the truck is cruising at 2,000 rpm it's really loud in that cab, partly because I have no sound deadner or floor mats. Anyway have fun with your project and I can' wait to see them running again. And since this darn forum is doing maintenence they won't let me upload pictures and it's driving me crazy!

Sounds good. In all seriousness, I hope you don't find the drone obnoxious at cruising speed.

Thanks man. I'm sure it won't bother me i've drove around in the 64 for almost 2 years now with metal floors and a glass pack under the cab lol i love every second of it. It is hard when theres another person in the truck tho they always seem to have a worried / scared look on their face lol. You also have to yell to have a conversation over 40 mph!
