I am always there everytime, I will again this August. My truck will not be done yet, but maybe some of us can get together and BBQ afterwards at the house, I like about 2 miles from the fairgrounds.

My truck might be running by then but that will be about it. So i dont think i will put my truck in the show with all the "speed" holes in my floor pan and rockers. I might go and see what parts i can get. Maybe i will see you guys there.

I'll be at the swap meet and I'll bring my recently finished 72 swb Cheyenne with a 92 bed and showdeck --- a BBQ sounds great!! Noel @ 209 956-0230

Cool deal, actually it has been a tradition for an online Chevelle club www.teamchevelle.com to attend this event and meet afterwards at my place for BS and bench racing. There will be a few Chevelles there and Chevy freaks in general, including JeffM on this site who owns a awesome shortbed fleetside big block truck.

I have a big driveway and it holds 15 cars/trucks so don't be shy on bringing your ride over.

We do ike a pot luck or just go to the local Raleys and pick up burgers/tri tip and salads for the afternoon. Beer is welcome

Absolutely, we meet up at the fairgrounds about 7 and hang out for the morning then get back to the house by 1 or so. I usually drive the Chevelle in, this time will be the same. I will post over on the Chevelle site and get a head count.

Just keep in touch either on here or a PM and I will give you details

Oh, just remembered, the new guy buys the beer

Kidding :p

Hey Craig (67Shortie) about that time again. My daughter and son-in-law just moved to Modesto so we may have a place to stay! Only bad thing is their living in an apartment in a not so nice area while their new home is being bulit is Escalone. Maybe Chris's Chevelle will be ready by then. It's always cool to hang with the guys at and after the meet. Hope to see ya'all there.

Hey who you callin' old

Great, if you get to attend we would like to have you there for the BBQ and the swap meet. With the experience of all of the members here and over at Team Chevelle there you should have plenty of brains to pick for anything you want to know :p Uh, car related that is. Unless Ronny shows up, he might have other experiences he will share with us

Jeff, yup I actually forgot about the August event ;) I would love to see Chris's Chevelle all done, it will be very nice I am sure. You to guys are a talented duo, great things come out of your garage and your truck and his Chevelle are no exceptions.

My garage, my truck will be at least painted by then so we can all check out the green beast when we are all there. My wife calls it Shrek, after that ugly ogre of a cartoon character. I don't think that means she likes it

Hi Guys,
I would like to meet up with you, I've met NeonLarry at a Vacaville meet about a month back, and would like to meet other members. :metal: I'd be driving my '62 C10 to Turlock. :) BTW where would we park, and meet at? :)
David

Jeff M. 07-05-2004 10:49 AM

David, we usually meet in the parking lot of WalMart just off the freeway at 6:30-6:45. Craig parks his car in the for sale area and I always just park in the parking lot at the fairgrounds. Usually meet up with several Chevelle guys then go to Craig's house for a lil flogging of the cars and a bbq. Been doing this several years and look forward to it, always a good time.

Yup, Jeff is right we usually meet up at the Wal Mart (parking lot) at 6:30 or so. This is off of the 99 and Fulkerth rd in Turlock, on the east side of the fwy. I do drive my car into the for sale area just to park, and a place to put parts and not have to walk all of the way out to the parking lot so save the arms/hands.

Jeff drives so far to attend, I can't believe he does it over and over again. If we had some sort of recognition, Jeff would always get the long distance award

Bigstoys, there will be a few of both attending (Chevelles/trucks) so you can bring whatever you feel like driving, either one of your rides will fit right in. Speaking of old, most of us attending ar in the range of 21-late 40's I myself am 39 so kind of creeping up there  All in good fun, this hobby age makes not much difference when we all have one thing in common. Oh, and the beer :D
