I posted some pics on a possible purchase on an earlier thread http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s....php3?t=110689
I have now found a second one I like as well, both fairly local. Any help deciding would be greatly appreciated. More eyes are much better than mine alone.

Thanks
Here are a few of the second one.

I like this one better than the yellow one personally....both are great looking blazers....

This blazer is cool looking with the two tone, but the yellow blazer has a VERY clean looking interior. the green/blue blazer has the cupholders console tho' MORE USEFUL :-)
I personally don't like the swing away tire carrier, but it does save some room in the interior.
Good luck!
Diane

Pick One

One's an auto with A/C and ones a stick without...two different beast's.
All depends on what your looking for.
Both seem very clean but I like the two tone one better.
Either would be awesome :metal:

Did you drive them? I think that will help your decision. I like the standard shift. My 2 cents. :-)

green two tone

That one looks like the one on "Without A Trace" Thursday night. Newer trim, two opposed steering stabilizers. Could it be? moodyholler

Wow. They are both beautiful trucks. Flip a coin.

bouncytruck 07-10-2004 11:57 PM

I saw the listing for this one. It has a interesting spare tire carrier and jerry can carrier. If you plan to wheel them at all (they both look to nice to do any serious wheeling) the brackets on this one hang down low.

teamharvey 07-11-2004 12:22 AM

If I ended up with this one, I was planning on yanking those ugly things off !

FRENCHBLUE72 07-11-2004 09:49 AM

The 2 tone one is my choice....

bouncytruck 07-11-2004 02:11 PM

I think you made a good choice. It looks really nice! Post more pictures when you pick it up (if you haven't already).

teamharvey 07-12-2004 12:05 AM

Well, it`s back to the drawing board........someone stole it out from under me on e-bay with 5 seconds to go. I had already talked to the owner about picking it up Tuesday. Not a real happy individual at the moment.

bouncytruck 07-12-2004 12:19 AM

Sorry to hear that.

Did you see the blue one in TX with 64K original miles on it? That one looks like a great score to me! It is currently at 9,600 and the reserve is met.

teamharvey 07-13-2004 12:39 PM

yea i won the bid at 11600 and the guy wont sell it but for 19500 but we came to a compromize at 15000. its my first carand im only 15, heck yea :metal: but yea the guy didnt put in the right reserve so i thought i got a steal on it, but i really didnt. what do yall think about it?

DMNCLNR 07-16-2004 04:53 PM

well your stoked on teh truck. theres no question about that. if i was 15 and had that truck i wold hav ebeen very happy... As far as teh wrong reserve goes, that is not your fault that is his. I was recently screwed on what i thought was a steal as well, and i ldont like that kind of business. kind of funny how he lets you know that after the bidding is over!

15 and $15K! Wow. That is a very nice looking truck. Congrats!

I thought that e-bay requires the seller to honor the contract? It was over the reserve for many day's before the auction ended. He should have stopped the auction if he put the wrong reserve in. Sounds to me like he didn't get as much as he expected so he's adding $ onto the price.

moodyholler 07-16-2004 05:07 PM

Go to Ebay

He has to HONOR the final bid if you have the winning bid and it is over his reserve, He HAS TO SELL IT according to ebay's rules. Go get im' moodyholler

2wdBlazer 07-16-2004 05:08 PM

I think the 15K is a raw deal. I would be pissed. You can find a whole lot of truck for a whole lot cheaper. That guy is shady. I paid $4800 off E-bay for mine.

blazen72 07-16-2004 05:17 PM

yea but it was my first time using ebay and they said i should just talk to him, my parents were mad but they didnt know what to do next either. ebay emailed me and said i should just call him, so i did and he said he woulnt take any less than 19500 then my dad talked to him so then he said no less than 15000. and plus he says it was also his 1st on ebay.

2wdBlazer 07-16-2004 05:19 PM

If he reniged, I would renig and keep looking. That's just me. Like I said, there alot of other nice ones out there.

blazen72 07-16-2004 05:30 PM

i emailed ebay again telling them the situation...im going to see what they say about me getting it for 11600

Jimmy72custom 07-16-2004 05:43 PM

I looked at allot of Blazers before I got my Jimmy. I found out that you can not tell by the asking price what the truck is like. When you look at it and drive it you will know what kind of deal you are getting. The Blazer looks good and solid in the pictures. The seller should honor his contract. Good luck.

bouncytruck 07-16-2004 05:54 PM

Looks like a solid Blazer to me. I'd work to get it at the price he agree upon with his e-bay contract though.
