Center console ?

Does the center console bolt right to the floor or does it bolt to a brecket that bolts to the floor?

Mine has 4 holes and bolts right through the floor. This is on both my Blazers.

At the front end of the console on the bottom it steps up a bit. That area rests centered on the part circled in red. I circled the holes in black. Basically to install it, place it on the floor on that step up, and center it, mark and drill your holes.

There is a plastic bracket or spacer of sorts that is often used with these consoles. I can't remember if they were on Blazer's or trucks but I have had several over the years. The console's all had four pre formed holes in their bottom area and none lined up with this spacer so I would guess that it was more of a brace then anything else. You could probably just use a piece of wood but bracing a plastic console is kind of wasted cause if you sit on it, it brakes. Now getting a 110lb young lady to kind of stretch across it in some form is another story ---for another time---on another board! hehehehe ;)
