my bent cab

My bent cab
Over the last few days I have been pushing and pulling my cab back into shape. The driver’s side cab is good and the door shuts at about 90% straight but the p/s is in need of help. If I line up the top of the door to the roof line there is one hell of a gap at the rockers, about ¼ at front and 1” at the rear and over lap at the rear door jam. If I line up the hinges the does not fit the opening. This was a serious splat and I’m looking for advice.
If I can’t fix it I’m going to need a cab for my 67. This was a basket case and I really don’t want to replace the bottom of the truck again.

There is at least one on ebay right now - this on is in Texas though

Keep your eyes peeled here in the parts forum :D

Also - get ahold of user Jacquesdean here on the board. He deals in many good southern parts and makes runs through Ohio frequently :burnout:

That cab is probably worse than what you got... buyer beware, search the board for recent articles about that seller.

What seller?

Gotcha. I have seen a couple of posts that say you are better off visiting his stuff in person. He does have some cool chrome items.

Thanks :D

Tommyg,
Sorry to hear you had a mis-hap with the cab. That can be really frustrating. Hang in there and take a breath, step back and get a fresh perspective. It'll come thru.
As an aside, did the pics for the floor shift column come through in your email? Have not heard back from you if still interested. Let me know if you did not get them, I can re-send if you'd like.

Tommyg,

I have a cab off of my 69 that may be of interest to you. It has new patch panels tack welded on the cab ( both floor panels , inner/outer rockers and cab corners ). It does need A LOT of work. I ended up using another cab that I found locally. It is located in Lancaster, OH ( about 2 hours away ).

Let me know if you are interested.
