Front springs in rear?
 
will it raise it up any if fronts are used in the rear of a coil spring truck?
it's not used for haulin (except @ss)

Front and rear are different coil shapes as I recall... New springs are not too bad thou.. GMC Paul has them for 100 a pair.. http://www.gmcpaulstruckparts.com
Going to a higher rated spring would raise the truck but at the expense of cushion.. ie you would get a harder ride..

The fronts will not work with the rear spring holders. You can go with a heavier spring, I have 3/4 tons on my 1/2 ton and got an inch. Other than that it's going to be air bags or spacers on the frame side.
