OWL letter cleaning to look white
I have a set of Dunlop G/t Qualifier tires with owl. the problem is making the owl look white. I have tried all sort of cleaners and they don't look white. My 71 truck with front disks makes the front tires look dirty than the rears. I have tried all kind of cleaners but can not make them look white. Any tips.

I use spray nine and a stiff scrub brush works evey time.

straight bleach works on mine. been using this for over 35 years
|
also try a brass brush like you would use to clean BBQ's to scrub the letters

OWL letters clean
Thanks for the input. I did have a run in with bleach two months ago, but for a different reason. I was cleaning my fish tank and had 2 fake coral plants that where looking kind of brown and grungy. I put about 2 caps of bleach in a bucket and about a couple of minutes it was white. I never gave it thought about the OWL till this answer. I'll let you know how it works. :gi:

Wesleys white wall (bleach) cleaner.
Comes in a blue bottle Or lacquer thinner dipped on the corner of a towel. Just my .02 :gmc:CCDually |
pick up some "castrol super clean" 7.00 per gallon @ walmart. cleans whites whiter and easier than you'd imagine. of course, "WESLEY'S bleche-white" works great too, and either works great with a regular tire brush.
