Re: tire shine

Try regular old black Kiwi shoe polish. Just pretend your tires are your shoes and wipe/brush it on, and then brush it off. Makes the tires look like they did when brand new...not too shiny, not too dull. You have to scrub them first w/Westley's bleche white before you use the Kiwi.

i spray on engine degreaser first, wash it off and then use tire shine. does that stoners make the white wall letter look nasty? i live one a road with alot of new construction and im tired of thoroughly cleaning my tires when i could just spray on some water.

I use Meguiers NXT tire shine on my car, the truck doesn't need any tire dressing yet but if you don't like the shiny stuff stay away, that stuff stays shiny for pretty good amount of time usually 2-3 weeks for my car which is garaged.

Just keep that crap off of anything you ever plan on painting it is a pain to get paint to stick to anything that has been armoralled.

I recently tried the newer Black Magic Tire Wet Titanium Gel. I am always mainly worried about "sling" and this stuff didn't sling AT ALL! So I am sold. But, there again - if you don't want high shine - stay away.
