Nv3500 transmission complete 5 speed

5 speed transmission pulled from a 92 c1500. Unit was in workin order when removed. 2nd to 3rd shift grinds ONLY when you are gettin into it. Under normal driving trans is great. Clutch disc is worn and I would replace while you have it out. Flywheel is in great shape and should be resurfaced while it is out also. Hyrdaulics and all are there. Shiftboot, shifterhandle, scattersheild, cluthdisc (reference only) pressure plate bolts etc etc. This is a complete setup that was pulled from a running truck. Only thing you would need is the pedals in your application. Pickup is preferred but can be shipped on a 4x4 crate which I will crate for free. Crate and tranny I would say are around 175# and will ship from 40258 at a dock. Price is $400 plus shipping. PM me with any questions. Eric

HMMMM, I was kinda interested. I didn't realize that mine was different. What do I have then. Mine is from a '92 3500. Someone told me exactly what mine was but I forget.

EDIT: Could mine be a 4400??

That is a NV4500. I've got one just like it! Wouldn't happen to have a spare bellhousing like the one in your pic would ya?

I actually don't have any additional parts for this transmission, I am removing mine for a rebuild (the synchros are bad) and I will ask the rebuilder if he has any extra's.

Too bad you arn't a in Montana or something Phantom -- I'd love to buy this to replace the slipping 700r4 in my 89...

However, it'd cost way too much to ship it all from Louisville

Re: Nv3500 transmission complete 5 speed

Hey man the grind into third is only under extreme conditions. We are talkin around 4500 rpm shifts. It would never do it under normal driving. I will shoot you a pm and we can come to a agreement.

Re: Nv3500 transmission complete 5 speed

if you dont mind, can you take two measurements for me? i would like to know length from the bellhousing mounting surface that touches the engine, to the back of the housing at the tailshaft/slipyoke (IE overall length). also, from the bellhousing, to the center of the shifter
thanks!

Also the grind from 2nd to 3rd mentioned likely is the worn pressure plate.
