color combo's

i'll be painting my truck this spring. is there a easy to use program for doing different color combo's? also if i want to do two tone? thx.

Nevada, hang in there for a few more days (maybe as early as this weekend) and our site will allow you to just what you are looking for and more. On http://www.cyberods.com you can change the color, two tone, flame, shave, chop, lower, rake, and change the wheels (currently over a 170 styles online). I will be posting back to this board, that has been so good to me, when we are fully online and open for business. What year are you looking for. We have a 72 SWB online now.

Wow, now THAT sounds pretty d@mn sweet.
You gonna put a Longhorn on there too? http://67-72chevytrucks.com/board/ubbhtml/wink.gif
I'm actually debaiting on what color to go wih on the Longhorn since we are on the subject...It'll have a black interier, so that limits my choices. I am thinking either black, or a Forest green. I might go with the cab top in white as it is now, but I doubt it. Any opinions on this?

1971Stepside 04-11-2002 01:55 PM

I would love to have a web site that would allow me to change ride height, wheels, color, etc. Will it be logical....in other words can I choose between a 2/4 drop and a 4/6 drop, or just it just simply lower the truck? Also, can we choose specific colors or basic colors?

longhornmail, my two cents would be to go with the new polo green on the HD's. That is a great color! I like the white top because it has the original look...I guess it is all what your going for.

oh, could we get a 71 or 72 Shortbed Stepside loaded to the database? http://67-72chevytrucks.com/board/ubbhtml/smile.gif

Ok here are some screen shots of the site. 71stepside when you lower a vehicle is just lowering, not specific amount ie 2 inch of 4 inch drops. Same with the wheels. You can scale them and move them. But no specific size is listed since all the pictures are taken at different distances from each vehicle. Some vehicles are a 3/4 shot versus a side shot which gives you better control of wheel offset as well. Anyway I hope these screen shots wet your appetite. By the way we have 20 something cars online and over 170 wheels as well as whitewall tires. The service will be $21.95 for two months of access to all the cars and wheels on the site.

now that is cool!

Yeah, looks like the site is coming along great. I have a ? though...what about different angles of the truck besides just the side?

The best way to see if the color is going to work (in my opinion) is from the front (to include the grill) and from the back (to include the cab, tailgate, exhaust, and chrome trim).

Most of the cars on the site are a 3/4 style shot. Like this

I am looking for another 67-72 to replace this one. So if anyone has one it needs to be fairly stock with aftermarket wheel/tire combo.

Thanks

Blaz-air, your site is way cool! I look forward to using it. The SWB would be just fine for my purposes. Thx.

Looks good. I ran through the links and everything seemed to be working great. I tried the demo and it all worked.

Now, how about adding a stepside for me!

1971Stepside, go to the request a car page and fill out the form so I can keep track of who is looking for what. When I get what you are looking for on the site I can then email you and let you know its available.
