4x4 swap?

I'm trying to figure out if I can swap my 69 shortbed stepside body onto an 86 K5 blazer chassis... Any help would be greatly appreciated

Blazer wheel base is a lot shorter, but I have seen people shorten a step-side bed to fit a Blazer chassis. Puts the wheel wells very close to the cab. This can look cool if done well, and the step side bed is a lot easier to shorten than a fleet side.
