There is a '02 Trans Am running around here with a Borla system on it. It sounds high pitched and kinda cackly, no where near as good as you would expect a LS1 to sound.

BORLA is Best ! ! !
I have it on a SWB & 90 GMC xcab 2wd.
Had on Monte Carlo SS's & 97 Burb.
Several Customers have on late model pick ups & NO Complants yet. A bit expensive... You get what you pay for...
Best to call Borla if you want to double check your set up for what sound you want. I had a set on a BB SWB one time & they poped like glass packs. A warranty was approved & a pair of "Hemi" mufflers was sent out - Perfect sound. Another guy in town installed a set on his 72 BB SWB also. He loves 'em... I have never ran Flowmaster till I purchased this 72 2WD Blazer - was on it when purchased. Sound a bit loud for me. Everyone else loves the sound. I Still perfer the Borla Muffler any day. Million Mile Warranty on them!!! Match that also. Like I was told "Once you purchase Borla - You will be sold". It is just $s you can't take it with ya... Just put a set on a new 02 SWB GM last week - The 'ole boy was just like a kid when I fired it up for him...:)

I bought a pair of stainless for my Jimmy. It's not put back together yet so I couldn't tell you. I got mine from an outfit on ebay. $150 each. Not cheap but less than anywhere else by about $50. There was someone on the board offering them at this price too. Forgot who it was so I went ebayin'. One other thing. My neighbor is into putting late model Nissan engines in old Datsun 510's and Roadsters and runs Borlas and they sound pretty damn good. Not your typical ricer sound. Deep and rumblin' as much as a 4 banger can.

I think I can sell around $130.00 - depends on type.
