Here are some pictures of my ill fitted radiator hose. It rubs against the alternator bracket, obviously that's just gonna last so long. Any ideas of what the correct hose or part number would be? The engine is a 454...

Can you cut an inch or so off the hose at the radiator connection to move the hose away from the bracket? Chris

Maybe drop a little more coin and get a flexible metal hose, IE: http://www.coolflex.com/cfm/welcome.cfm

I dunno what your budget looks like, but odds are you'd never have to replace one of these....they're pretty awesome.

you could just get the proper original alt bracket and solve the problem
