Rear End Swap
 
My brother in law has an 03 GMC Sierra 2500 HD. He isn't happy with the mileage he is getting and wants to swap his rear end for one with 3.73? gears. What are his options aside from new? Will any 8-bolt rear end match up? Thanks.

why not just keep the axle and change the gears?
