Can you get measurements? It looks like a louvered radio delete plate ;)

Re: Anyone know what this is?

What are the dimensions of it? At first look I'd call it a radio delete from the '47-'54 era

Re: Anyone know what this is?

9 1/8" X 2 11/16"

Also it;s not perfectly flat. There is a very slight curve to it side to side.

Re: Anyone know what this is?

If it's curved then sdkid is probably right

Nope, those were simply flat pieces that filled the hole, almost making it flush with the dash.

1947-1953 Chevy radio delete plates are smaller. They only
cover where the center of the radio comes out, and two bolts
where the radio knobs would be.

I think the radio delete in a volkswagon bug was louvered

don't know what it is, but it is not a radio delete plate for 47 to 54. I just installed one in my 51

I kinda was thinkin that too but it's solid....no holes for air flow:confused:

It was in a box of parts the PO of my 71 gave me. He didn't know what it was either. Hey maybe it's something so rare that it will finace my restore when I find a buyer! :haha:

It's the part I've been looking for. It's a radio delete plate for a 1928 Winnebego. I'll give you $5600.00 because it needs to be repainted and the nuts are missing off the studs.

I will double that offer, it was also used on the Nash Airflow convertible open road camper boat conversion, I have been trying to finish it's restore now for over 45 years

Almost looks like a body moulding off an old Buick or Oldsmobile. Maybe there were multiple ones instead of just one? Other than that I have no clue

Hang it on the garage wall...sooner or later someone will know the answer.

The louvered part----cooling fins for a flux capacitor...

The heater controls actually do look similar to Willys wagon/truck stuff from the 50's.
