Re: whats it worth??

If it's as rust free as it appears to be and looks the same on the other side I'd pay up to $1000 for the rolling chassis/body (assuming no motor)

I saw your CCSB at a few shows last year. You might know me from my truck. I sold this about 2 years ago, never got a chance to finish it... My ex & I were splitting up... Oh, incase you were wondering, measured 1 5/8 to the bottom of the door.

$200-500, yeah the body is OK, but the glass, and lack of stuff makes it a rolling parts car. For a grand I can buy one and drive it home, with little of no rust. Instead of looking at the condition of the metal look at the stuff that is lacking, and the time and money it'll take to fix it. Heck buy one from az and pay to have it delivered and you'll still be money ahead.

Took a while to find them but here is what I bought for $200 4 years ago... I know of a complete roller for about $500 and a few others around too. I would have a hard time going over $500 for it, providing it has a good, clear title and the rot isn't too bad on it... Check the floor under the rear seat, up where it meets the wood floor. They LOVE to rot there and along where the "4th" door would be...

Re: whats it worth??

The question is; is there any rot or just minor surface stuff? I'd pay a grand for a solid body/frame with little-to-no rust repair needed. But I do live in Oregon, not Arizona... It looks like it's someone's abandoned project so it really depends on how much has already been done and how well, as well as what parts are coming with it.

If you decide to pass & he is willing to part it out, I could use the barn doors from the rear ;) Maybe the pass front door too if it is rust free. Maybe an even up swap for a tailgate/liftgate setup if the barn doors are real nice...

Isn`t that "Ye Ole Rust in the Quarters" I see?Not doin`it any good letting water in to soak the floor and backsides of the sheetmetal.Tail light area all cobbled-up?Prolly rust there, too.Personally I`d start with something better. But,I`d roll it off for him and maybe had over a couple hundred if it`s got some decent parts.I`m sure the interior panels are shot.

seth 69 sub...

Welcome to the board! Noticed your from KS. Have to be honest with you, you will be better off looking for doors, ect in KS than from NJ. I have a set of KS doors on my 71 burb and they are sweet. My NJ doors you can put your fist thru the bottom. On the 1/4 panel, if it's not too bad, use a SWB or blazer bedside for the wheel arch, the rear section is reproduced and the front section is easy to fab...
