I'm thinking about going to this show. I'll be with a buddy that needs '64 doors, they have to be dry and straight. I can also bring my 12 bolt one legger with 411's:

Me too......Love getting up early on Saturday and cruising down and walk through the show.....I've gone to the pleasanton shows for years and think they are one of the best in this area.

As always, this show was very eventful. I would put the quality of cars/ trucks at this show up against anything you can find at Hot August Nights in Reno - any day of the week.
My partner in crime and I discovered a few things this weekend at the show: 1. You can't buy a 4 speed Muncie for $300 (even if you have cash). 2. The 67-72 fleet bumper would look perfect on his '64 pickup. 3. We both need the winning Loto numbers ASAP! Even though these guys seemed pretty unapproachable (even Tom Cruise signs autographs), here's a pretty impressive '68 truck from this weekend: http://www.thegamesover.com/gallery/album14 |

That show was awesome for the 67-72 chev truck crowd. I spend all kinds of money at the swap! Brought home a new chrome bumper, some grille surrounds, light bezels, arm rests, original outside mirrors and some numbers for slot mags. Ended up having to buy a mower and rake for the "honey do" list on Sunday but I'm stoked!

Re: GoodGuys Show in Pleasanton - 3/24
At some point I think it would be cool to organize a 67-72 section at this show. There were plenty of folks there to represent, much like the Mustang section near center grass. I guess the first step is buying some site shirts and then making some introductions at these shows...
I'm not sure if anyone stopped off at the "Used Car Corral" but there was a red (daddy financed) '67 SWB for $22K and then the maroon one for $25K. Or for those a little more penny conscious, you could grab the '72 survivor from my buddy Will from Redding for $4K. |
Re: GoodGuys Show in Pleasanton - 3/24
how many of these awesome trucks at the show belong to members? Did the guys(and gals) that went to the show convince any of the owners to join up?

Re: GoodGuys Show in Pleasanton - 3/24
Oddly enough, some of the guys I spoke with had never heard of the site. Dang, I thought I was clueless...But I was representing and I knew I should have bought a "site" shirt so I was really styling.
