it was a nice day out today and i have the week off from work. so i was able to play with my truck today.

this is what it looked like after one snow storm. it almost brought to my eye...

I feel your pain. I can't stand to have any truck or truck part that I might use someday out in the snow, if I can help it...

I think the reason this is such a big deal to me is that when I got my truck back in '92 it was virtually rust free. Then about 10 years later after driving all year in all conditions I realized that the rockers and cab mounts were gone. But back then it was just a dependable old truck to me, and not an obsession. So anyway now I try to keep any part I can from deteriorating from exposure or use.
