demensions for JL 12" WO box
 

i figured someone on this site would be able to tell me either the formula or actual demensions(volume)to figure out the size of box needed to either run one jl 12' wo or for 2..i figured id get a faster response here 4sure then any other site...cheers

In a sealed application, you need a volume of 1.5 cubic feet of space per 12w0 sub.

You can go the JLaudio.com and click on products, then subwoofers, then discontinued. click on the sub you would like to look at and it gives you the manual in PDF. It has the spefics on the sub and the deminisions to build a basic box.

take inside width x height x depth and devide by 1728 and that will give you inside cubic ft. 14.5"x14.5"x26"=5278 devide 5466.5/1728=3.163 cu ft. or 1.5 ea with devider plate. Oh yae I forgot to subtract the sub cu ft.
