5x4.75 axles

Anyone know of axles available for a '69 Stepside 12-bolt with the 5 on 4.75 lug pattern? I wanna put the new Salt Flat rims by AR on my truck, and I want 16x8's on the rear. the closest lug pattern they make them is the 5x4.75" pattern. Any thoughts or leads?

I'm assuming you have 6 lug wheels on your truck now. If so your can put 5 on 5" off of a later truck if you make some spacers 3/4" thick to go between the brake backing plates and the end of the housing. I made mine out of T-6 aluminum and they work just fine.

The truck 5 lug is a 5 on 5 pattern, to get a 5x 4 3/4, you might talk with a machine spob for redrilling axles & drums.....Im not sure about drilling the front rotors .......maybe somebody has this info. good luck.....crazy AL:)

Ive had a lot of work done by Dutchman motorsports in Portland , Oregon . They do a lot of mail order work and make custom axles as well as redrilling rotors, axles and drums. http://www.dutchmanms.com/ . They will redrill drums and rotors for $25 a pop . At least that was their price the last time I had some done.

I re-drilled my 6- lug axles to accept the 5-4.75. That bolt pattern actually set up better than the 5 on 5. I did mine for rear wheel discs. In order to press the new lugs though there is an uneven surface towards the inside of the axle that needs to be machined so that you have a nice flat to locate the lugs. I don't know your measurements on those wheels, but I had to machine the center hub and the major outside diameter to accept the rotors as well.
