Finally getting finished!
I've been pounding away on this thing and after a final sleepless night, I'm pretty much done!! "New" engine, redone radiator, power disc brake conversion, general cleaning of engine compartment, emptied ALL fluids, new plugs/wires, K&N, guess that's about it! All I need to do is add oil, tranny fluid, coolant, a radiator hose clamp, hook up my battery and VROOM! (fingers crossed that carb is still relatively close and dizzy is still good) I also need an alignment in a bad way but at least I can drive her up and down my street very soon! YAY!! She's been sitting, being sad for a good 2 years! Now if I can just scrounge up a few bucks for insurance/inspection/registration and the alignment -- I can start driving Shirley all around town! Yay!! Now all I need to do is get hold of a digi-cam. :D
I have a few random parts if anyone needs them, I'll post in the parts board. I sure hope she starts up for me today!! Did I say, YAY? Jason |
Sweet, bet you can't wait. I can't imagine not driving mine for that long. Have fun!
