I can't put my finger on it, but I just love the body lines on these old trucks. They look, well almost sexy!:D

crazy4chevs 11-15-2002 01:22 AM

Wish my truck looked like that:rolleyes: nice curves

krazy_texan 11-15-2002 01:24 AM

yes i do the see the same thing in my truck but only creative people like the people that own these type trucks can appreciate

that is really creative and cool as hell

lofly'a 11-15-2002 01:25 AM

SEXY!!??!!...........well hell yea. the way the rear bottom of the bed rolls under just right, and the way a nice roll pan accentuates it, the perfect profile on the roof line, the 67-68 sloped hood gives it motion while sitting still, no unneccessary body lines or creases. the only thing that i'm gonna change on mine is the tailgate, because i like a smooth tailgate. truthfully, aside from the 67-72's, chevrolet only came close once imho and that would be the 88-98 body style. i truely "dig" (does that word make me sound old) the 47 to early 54's but they are from a different era and way of styling a truck.

:D :bowtie: :gmc: :p

Rhino 11-15-2002 01:26 AM

what kind of front nerf bar is that?????

Longhorn Man 11-15-2002 01:31 AM

I agree. Plus, mine has more curves to apreciate.

srhart71 11-15-2002 01:41 AM

I agree with ya. One question, "Who is your painter :D I want them to paint mine."

bobs409 11-15-2002 08:56 AM

Best looking trucks on the planet! After the 67-72's, they should have just given up. Can't get any better than these.

Brewski* 11-15-2002 09:31 AM

NICE

1971Stepside 11-15-2002 10:28 AM

Wonder if I could shave that door handle for ya!:D :D

Ackattack 11-15-2002 11:39 AM

I shaved the trim off of mine, and I think it really smooths it up and you can see the lines of the body. The molding kinda hides the lines (kinda like clothes).

1971Stepside 11-15-2002 11:44 AM

Speaking of trim...I would like to have some "trim" off that truck!!! Stop it! Must get back to work....this place is addicitive.

weasel29gm 11-15-2002 06:28 PM

Since I took the trim off does that mean I'm naked now?:D :bowtie: :flag: :bowtie:

Primered_69 11-15-2002 06:34 PM

Yeah strangely I think they still look great rusted and broken down.

I have that vision problem where I can see the great truck it can be.

it a sickness

HeavyK20 11-15-2002 06:36 PM

I love them like children. In fact...I almost consider them part of the family.

Primered_69 11-15-2002 06:40 PM

It is a shame that we can not claim them. Darn IRS.

Longhorn Man 11-15-2002 09:46 PM

Use it as a work vehicke then you can claim it, but only for 5 years.
But that kinda takes you a couple steps back in the working restoration huh?

mrein3 11-16-2002 12:35 PM

Is that all you younger guys think about?

I think of my truck as a extension of myself. I put my money and sweat and tears into it and made it the way I WANT IT! I love my truck it is so sexy in black and the reaction of people when it cruises by makes it all worth it. Ever drive down the street and look at the reflection of your ride in the windows of the stores. SCHWING!

Ackattack 11-16-2002 11:31 PM

Oh my god, I read this post the other day...and I just now looked at it again. Just noticed the picture...Maybe I'm a little slow...I don't know

go back and look at it :)

Bowed 11-16-2002 11:42 PM

Accattack - I did not see it either until you mentioned it . :p
